European wine producers hold tasting events in Brazil

European wine producers are engaging with the Brazilian market through several specialized tasting and networking events.

In Brasília, the Chez France Expérience event at Clube Ascade will showcase approximately 60 labels from nine European wineries. The selection focuses heavily on French regions, including Champagne, Burgundy, Bordeaux, Alsace, Rhône, and Languedoc, while also featuring production from Corfu, Greece. Producers will be present to discuss terroir and winemaking processes with attendees.

Simultaneously, six producers from the Trás-os-Montes region of Portugal are participating in industry events in Brazil. The Comissão Vitivinícola Regional de Trás-os-Montes (CVRTM) is facilitating their presence at ProWine São Paulo, targeting importers and distributors, and at the Vinho & Sabores de Portugal event in Rio de Janeiro. This initiative aims to expand international commercial opportunities for Portuguese wines during a challenging period for the viticulture sector.
