Eurovision Asia 2026: National selections progress in Malaysia, Mongolia, and Bangladesh
Preparations are underway for the inaugural Eurovision Song Contest Asia 2026, scheduled to take place on November 14 in Bangkok, Thailand. Several participating nations have begun their selection processes to determine their representatives.
Malaysia has selected Aina Abdul through the national final “AJL: Anugerah Juara Lagu,” organized by broadcaster TV3. Abdul performed the song “Kamu” during the competition held at the Unifi Arena in Kuala Lumpur. The specific song she will perform at the main contest in Bangkok is to be announced at a later date.
Mongolia has announced that its national final will be held on October 10, organized by MNC. Meanwhile, Bangladesh has closed its submission window for artists. The Bangladeshi representative will be chosen via the show “Voice of Bangladesh,” with a final featuring twelve singers expected on September 30. The winner will be decided by a 50/50 split between jury and public voting.
