Eurowings reduces winter operations and suspends regional routes
Eurowings has announced revisions to its winter operations for the 2026/27 season, involving route suspensions and reduced capacity in the former Yugoslavia region.
The Lufthansa subsidiary will temporarily pause its Stuttgart to Zagreb service between January 11 and February 26, while also reducing flight frequencies in November and December. At Zagreb Airport, the airline expects to operate 184 flights, a 20.6% decrease from the previous year.
Other adjustments include the suspension of Stuttgart to Sarajevo flights from late November through early March, with limited service during specific holiday dates. The Cologne to Sarajevo route will also see reduced frequencies. Additionally, the Cologne to Split service will be paused from late November until late March, with limited holiday operations.
In Kosovo, services between Munich and Pristina are scheduled to be suspended from January 9 until March 20.
