Eutelsat and G&S SatCom launch automated OneWeb LEO management tool

Eutelsat Network Solutions and G&S SatCom have launched an upgraded Online Management Tool designed for government users to manage connectivity via the OneWeb low-Earth-orbit (LEO) constellation. The platform automates provisioning processes, allowing authorized customers to plan requirements, manage user permissions, and modify services rapidly. This shift toward software-defined orchestration aims to reduce administrative overhead and shorten service activation times.

Separately, Communications & Power Industries (CPI) has secured its first order for the MOCAT Ultra-Heavy-Duty tactical satellite terminal, with the customer being a branch of the US military. The ruggedized system is capable of operating across LEO, MEO, and GEO satellites, covering frequencies from L-band through Ka-band. The terminal features a reinforced pedestal and increased payload capacity to support demanding electronic-warfare applications.
