Save Europe Act petition delivers 500,000 signatures to EU Parliament

The citizen initiative known as the “Save Europe Act”, led by Eva Vlaardingerbroek and supported by right‑wing activists across Europe, aims to halt asylum immigration, enforce remigration of non‑integrated migrants and protect Europe’s cultural and demographic identity. On 15 July 2026 the organizers brought more than half a million signatures to the European Parliament in Brussels, despite a police blockade and an initial ban imposed by the Brussels mayor that was later lifted by the Belgian State Council.

The submission was attended by representatives such as Dutch commentator Eva Vlardingerbruk, Austrian activist Martin Zelner and politicians including Viktor Orbán (Hungary), a VOX leader (Spain), AfD members (Germany), a British MP, Romania’s AUR leader, and a Polish MEP. The initiative seeks to collect one million signatures, and the 500,000‑plus gathered are intended to press the EU Commission to adopt stricter border controls, faster return of illegal migrants and a voluntary repatriation framework.
