Everton injury updates ahead of Chelsea match

Everton manager David Moyes has provided fitness updates ahead of the upcoming Premier League match against Chelsea at Hill Dickinson Stadium. The club remains one of only three unbeaten teams in the division after six matches.

Left-back Vitalii Mykolenko is considered a doubt for the fixture following an injury sustained during international duty with Ukraine. While Moyes noted that Mykolenko is “doing much better” and has a chance to play, the player is currently rated at approximately 50-50. In his absence, Jarrad Branthwaite has been utilized at left-back, though he also dealt with a minor leg issue during the previous match against Hull City.

Additionally, summer signing Christian Norgaard is nearing a return from a groin injury that has sidelined him for the first seven games of the season. Moyes indicated that while the midfielder may be available to make his debut as a substitute, he is not yet ready to be included in the starting lineup.
