Everton offers Bayer Leverkusen striker Christian Kofane
Everton Football Club has submitted a formal bid to sign 19‑year‑old Cameroonian forward Christian Kofane from Bayer Leverkusen. The Merseyside side is prepared to meet a valuation estimated between €60 million and €70 million, aiming to secure the striker ahead of the next Premier League season.
Kofane, who stands 1.89 m tall, began his senior career with Spanish Segunda División side Albacete before moving to the Bundesliga in 2025, where he signed a contract running to June 2029. In the 2025‑26 campaign he made 39 appearances for Leverkusen, scoring seven goals and providing eight assists across league and Champions League matches, and has become a regular for the Cameroon national team.
Everton faces competition from other European clubs, including Arsenal, Newcastle United, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid, all of which have been reported to monitor the youngster. Bayer Leverkusen must decide whether to retain the rising talent or accept a premium offer that could set a record sale for the German club.
