Evri and Domino’s launch major recruitment drives in UK and Ireland
Evri and Domino’s have announced major recruitment drives to bolster their workforces for the upcoming peak season.
Evri is planning to hire more than 10,000 people across the UK. This includes over 7,000 roles for self-employed couriers and 2,000 owner-driver positions within its Evri Premium network. To increase accessibility, the company has introduced a ‘no van, no problem’ scheme, allowing applicants to apply without owning a vehicle. The expansion follows Evri’s merger with DHL eCommerce UK and supports its goal to increase annual parcel volume from one billion to 1.4 billion by 2030.
Domino’s is seeking to hire 5,000 new staff members across its 1,400 stores in the UK and Ireland. The seasonal recruitment targets in-store team members and delivery drivers to meet demand leading up to Christmas. The company noted that many employees use these roles as entry points into long-term careers, with nine in ten store managers having started as team members or drivers.
