Executions carried out at Qezel Hesar Prison in Karaj

Two executions have reportedly taken place at Qezel Hesar Prison in Karaj.

Milad Zeinali, approximately 28 years old from Koohdasht, was executed on Sunday, September 27, 2026, following a conviction for drug trafficking. Sources indicate he had been held for roughly 10 years following his arrest.

Additionally, Mohammadreza Khorram, approximately 23 years old, was executed on Wednesday, September 10, 2026, on charges of premeditated murder. Reports suggest the incident occurred when Khorram, who was 18 at the time of his arrest, engaged in a confrontation with an individual following a dispute involving his sister. The encounter resulted in the individual's death.
