Executions reported in Mashhad, Khorramabad, and Yazd prisons

Multiple executions have been reported in several Iranian prisons. In Mashhad, a prisoner identified as Mosayeb was executed at Vakil Abad prison following a conviction for the murder of a woman.

In Khorramabad, Mostafa Vosoughi was executed after being detained approximately three years ago on murder charges. Additionally, the number of executions in Yazd prison rose to two following the execution of 45-year-old Emad Sheikhi, who had been sentenced for drug-related offenses.

Separately, officials in Lorestan reported that five death row inmates in the province have been spared execution since the beginning of the year through the intervention of elders and the forgiveness of victims' families.
