Exequiel Zeballos’ Napoli move stalls over Boca’s €8.5 million fee

Argentina’s Boca Juniors and Italy’s Napoli are negotiating the transfer of 24‑year‑old winger Exequiel Zeballos. Boca has set the player’s valuation at roughly €8.5 million, while Napoli has expressed interest and has already agreed on personal terms with the Argentine. The deal remains unresolved because Boca insists on its price and Napoli first needs to free up space in its attacking roster. Boca plans to use any incoming funds to recruit a new winger, as hinted by club officials. Earlier, CSKA Moscow offered Zeballos €20 million, which he declined in favour of a move to Napoli.

Both clubs continue discussions, but the transfer is not expected to be completed this summer unless the financial and squad‑size issues are settled.
