EXPO 2027 Belgrade expands tourism outreach and scientific partnerships
EXPO 2027 Belgrade is advancing its international roadshow and educational programming ahead of its opening on May 15, 2027. In Bratislava, Slovakia, the organization will host a “Visit Serbia B2B Networking” event on September 17, 2026. This initiative aims to showcase Serbia’s tourism and investment opportunities to the Slovak travel industry, building on growing economic ties where bilateral trade reached approximately EUR 1.3 billion in 2025.
Domestically, EXPO 2027 Belgrade has signed a cooperation agreement with the Science Promotion Center (CPN). The partnership focuses on designing educational and popular science programs for the Expo’s Educational Pavilion. The goal is to engage children and young people with science and innovation. Danilo Jerinić, Executive Director of EXPO 2027 Belgrade, noted that the event intends to showcase modern technologies, including the potential introduction of flying taxis in Serbia.
