Expo 2027 Belgrade receives 10,000 volunteer applications

The Expo 2027 Belgrade volunteer program, known as ‘Expo Playmakers’, has received 10,000 applications from 119 different countries within just three months. This marks a significant milestone for the event, which will be the largest international specialized exhibition in the Western Balkans and the first of its kind hosted in Serbia.

Volunteers will be responsible for welcoming and supporting visitors and international participants in Belgrade. The program is open to adults from Serbia and abroad, as well as individuals who will turn 18 by April 15, 2027. Upon completion of their service, volunteers will receive an internationally recognized certificate confirmed by the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE).

Danilo Jerinić, Director of EXPO 2027 Belgrade, expressed gratitude to the applicants for their trust and commitment to dedicating their time and energy to the event.
