Expo 2027 signs multi‑million‑dinar contract for safety gear

Expo 2027 in Belgrade awarded a contract worth 11.63 million dinars (13.96 million with VAT) to Vatrex Rescue, a company based in Zemun, for the supply of protective and safety equipment. The equipment will cover personal, mutual and collective protection against natural hazards and accidents on the Expo site, enhancing operational readiness and emergency response capability during the preparation and conduct of the exhibition.

Expo director Danilo Jerinić said safety for participants, staff and visitors is a top priority and that the procurement strengthens the ability to act promptly in emergency situations. The specialized exhibition is scheduled for 15 May to 15 August 2027 and has already confirmed participation from 140 international exhibitors.
