EXPO 2027 technical delegates arrive in Belgrade for pavilion planning

More than 250 technical delegates from 40 participating countries have arrived in Belgrade for a three-day Technical Preparation Meeting (TPM) regarding EXPO 2027. The meeting, held at the EXPO construction site, focuses on the transition from conceptual planning to the physical construction and installation of national pavilions.

The delegations consist of engineers, architects, security experts, and installation specialists. These professionals will meet with organizers to discuss technical and operational details, including construction permits and the management of specific plots.

Dimitri Kerkentzes, Secretary General of the International Bureau of Expositions, noted that the event marks a shift toward concrete implementation as the exhibition is now less than 250 days away. Officials stated that construction of the complex is proceeding according to plan, with the simultaneous construction and equipping of national pavilions expected to begin shortly.
