Expo Tarauacá returns to Brazil with new safety regulations

The Expo Tarauacá 2026 event has returned to Tarauacá, Brazil, after an 11-year hiatus. The festival features musical performances, local entrepreneurship spaces, and agricultural showcases, including the region's famous giant pineapples.

To ensure safety, the Court of Justice of Acre (TJAC) issued Ordinance No. 3606/2026 to regulate the presence of minors. Children up to 12 years old are prohibited from attending without a parent or legal guardian. Additionally, adolescents aged 12 to 18 are not permitted to remain at the event after 3:00 AM, even if accompanied by guardians. Judge Ricardo Cavalli noted that finding minors in prohibited areas or at unauthorized times constitutes a risk situation, allowing for intervention by the Guardianship Council. The court also emphasized strict prohibitions on the sale and supply of alcohol and tobacco to minors.
