Expofeira 2026 hosts livestock, rodeo, and cultural events in Feira de Santana

The 47th Expofeira (Exposição Agropecuária de Feira de Santana) is currently underway at the João Martins da Silva Exhibition Park, featuring a diverse range of agricultural, cultural, and sporting activities.

Religious programming included gospel music nights with performers such as Léo Sandys, Júlia Alyasha, and Pastor Henrique Peterson. The event also features livestock highlights, notably ‘Modelo’, a 1,200 kg Tabanel bull (Nelore and Tabapuã cross) that has become a popular attraction for visitors.

Competitive events include rodeo performances, where judges evaluate bulls and riders on technical criteria such as jump, kick, intensity, difficulty, and spin. Additionally, the fair hosts equestrian competitions, including breed judgments for Mangalarga Marchador, Mangalarga, and Campolina, as well as Team Penning contests.
