Exponor 2026 in Chile hosts Los Rios pavilion and Shell Lubricants

Exponor 2026, Chile's premier mining and energy exhibition, gathered more than 1,380 companies from 36 countries and attracted over 47,000 visitors. The Region of Los Rios became the only Chilean region with an official pavilion, showcasing its productive, tourism, technology and scientific capacities. The delegation of 15 local entrepreneurs—including breweries, a chocolatier, biotech firms and tourism operators—sought new commercial opportunities and promoted sustainable solutions. Governor Luis Cuvertino highlighted the pavilion’s role in raising the region’s profile and generating economic growth.

Shell Lubricants, represented through Enex, used the fair to display advanced lubrication products and digital monitoring tools such as Shell Tactic EMV LoRa and LubeTruck. The company emphasized benefits for large‑scale mining, including longer lubrication intervals, reduced equipment downtime, lower emissions and compliance with Chile’s extended producer responsibility regulations. Both the regional pavilion and Shell’s showcase underline Chile’s focus on innovative, sustainable mining practices.
