Exponor 2026 mining and energy fair set for Antofagasta, Chile

The Exponor 2026 exhibition, one of Latin America's leading mining, energy and industrial technology fairs, will take place in Antofagasta, Chile from 8 to 11 May. Organisers expect more than 1,100 exhibitors and around 47,000 visitors, with representatives from over 30 countries.

Chile's export promotion agency ProChile will host a stand in the Yodo pavilion featuring 18 northern‑region firms and will run a two‑day international business roundtable with 10 importers from Mexico, Peru, Argentina, Panama, Bolivia, Brazil and Ecuador. The agency aims to facilitate more than 300 business meetings for roughly 120 Chilean companies.

Brazilian industrial protection specialist Powerpoxi will also attend, represented by President Emílio Castro, International Sales VP Diego Cavalieri and CEO Thomas Fink, showcasing solutions for corrosion‑resistant equipment. The fair will include technical sessions on automation, digitalisation, energy efficiency and decarbonisation, reflecting growing global demand for copper and lithium, commodities in which Chile is a world leader.
