Extremadura launches grants for school exchanges and artistic mobility
Extremadura has launched several initiatives to promote international mobility and education. The Regional Ministry of Education and Vocational Training has allocated 105,000 euros to fund school exchanges for the 2026/2027 academic year. These grants target secondary school and vocational training students, allowing groups of 10 to 40 students to live with host families abroad for at least seven days to practice languages and learn new customs.
Additionally, the Cáceres 2031 Consortium has introduced the ‘Mobility Grants Cáceres 2031’ program. This initiative provides up to 10,000 euros per beneficiary to help residents pursue formal artistic training in other European countries. The funding covers various disciplines, including music, dance, theater, fine arts, and design, aiming to reduce economic barriers for local talent. Eligible expenses include travel, accommodation, and insurance.
