EZKarta expands digital health services in Czech Republic

The EZKarta mobile application in the Czech Republic has expanded its functionality to provide users with more comprehensive access to personal health data. Originally used as an electronic vaccination certificate during the pandemic, the app now includes information regarding preventive check-ups, screening examinations, and laboratory results.

Users can view ten selected laboratory parameters and their historical values over the last five years, allowing them to track trends against reference ranges. The app also features blood donor cards, medical reports, and selected data from shared health records. Additionally, users can manage profiles for minors or other individuals for whom they have authorized access. The Ministry of Health plans to gradually integrate more hospitals and medical facilities into the system.
