Fabrizio Corona has announced plans to launch an independent social media platform on September 14, 2026. Described as a “political battle for freedom from Big Tech,” the project aims to replicate the Instagram experience using autonomous servers to prevent censorship or account bans by Meta.

In a separate development, aesthetic surgeon Genny Urtis revealed during a podcast that her long-standing relationship with Corona has had significant financial consequences. Urtis claimed that after a proposed marriage between the two failed to materialize, she lost approximately one million euros in potential sponsorship offers that had been secured following the initial announcement.
