Fabrizio Corona faces Mediaset lawsuit in Milan court

Fabrizio Corona appeared before Judge Stefania Novelli at the Milan Civil Court regarding a massive lawsuit filed by the Mediaset group and several prominent television personalities. The plaintiffs, which include Marina and Pier Silvio Berlusconi, Maria De Filippi, Silvia Toffanin, Gerry Scotti, Ilary Blasi, and Samira Lui, are seeking 160 million euros in damages.

The legal action stems from a January 26 episode of the program ‘Falsissimo,’ in which Corona is alleged to have defamed the television figures, causing both reputational and financial harm. During the technical hearing, both parties submitted requests for the admission of evidence. The judge has reserved her decision on which evidence will be admitted for the proceedings.
