Fabrizio Corona ordered to pay €17,500 after Milan court rules Jeep abandonment was fuel‑related

The Tribunal of Milan ruled that Fabrizio Corona's family company, Atena Srl, must pay a total of €17,500 to a vehicle‑rental firm for abandoning a rented Jeep Wrangler on the highway. The court found no mechanical fault; the vehicle was stopped only because its fuel tank was empty. The judgment includes a €15,000 penalty, €2,500 in legal costs and an additional €2,000 for vehicle damage.

The dispute originated from unpaid invoices dating back to December 2023, including charges for a Range Rover Sport SVR also linked to Corona. Corona’s defence claimed the Jeep suffered a malfunction and that he was owed compensation, but the investigation disproved the claim. The decision, delivered in July 2026, confirms the rental company’s credit and holds Corona’s company liable for the full amount.
