The tribunal found the vehicle was left because its fuel tank was empty, rejecting Corona’s claim of a mechanical fault, and imposed a €15,000 penalty, €2,500 in legal costs and €2,000 for damage. It also dismissed his request for compensation on a Range Rover Sport SVR and noted unpaid invoices of roughly €32,000 to the rental company. The July 28 2026 ruling reaffirmed these findings, confirming Atena Srl’s liability for the full amount.
