Fabrizio Corona charged after police chase in Milan

Fabrizio Corona has been reported to authorities following a police chase in Milan on the evening of October 14, 2026. While driving a Land Rover SUV near the intersection of Via Moscati and Corso Sempione, Corona reportedly ignored an order from Carabinieri to stop for a routine check, leading to a pursuit of approximately 700 meters.

Following the stop, authorities discovered that Corona was driving without a valid license and that his vehicle was under administrative seizure. Consequently, his vehicle was confiscated, and he was charged with dangerous driving and driving without a license.

There are conflicting accounts regarding the motive for the incident. Some reports suggest Corona was pursuing television host Stefano De Martino on a motorcycle following a televised disagreement. Conversely, Corona has claimed via Telegram that he was actually chasing suspects involved in a previous attempted robbery and assault against him, characterizing the news of the police chase as “fake news.”
