Factory Innovation Awards 2026 Honored at Hannover Messe

A 16‑member expert jury selected the winners of the 2026 Factory Innovation Awards through a public online pitch competition. The top solutions were showcased on the main stage of the Hannover Messe, with nominees such as Robert Bosch, Siemens Gerätewerk Amberg, tesa Werk Hamburg, Fraunhofer IPT, University of Potsdam, August‑Wilhelm Scheer Institute, PSI, engomo, Industrial Application Software, ZF Friedrichshafen, QAD and GRÜN GQM.

The award highlights smart‑factory software that enhances industrial production through digitalisation, automation and networking, emphasizing concrete benefits for users. The jury’s decisions were transparently explained, offering insight into the evaluation criteria. Participants presented a five‑minute pitch online, answered live questions from the jury, and the highest‑scoring entries were invited to the exhibition for the award ceremony. The Factory Innovation Award is regarded as one of Europe’s most prestigious recognitions for smart‑factory solutions. The next round of pitches is scheduled for February and March 2027.
