Faculty of Philosophy in Niš employees receive 1.5 million dinars in aid

The Center for Critical Education (CKO) has announced that over 1.5 million dinars have been collected to support employees at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Niš. The funds were raised through the “Solidarity with the Faculty of Philosophy in Niš” campaign to assist staff members who have not received salaries since July.

Despite the amount raised, organizers stated that needs remain significant. The faculty employs more than 250 people, and the current funds have only allowed for a payment of approximately 10,000 dinars to most employees. Consequently, the fundraising campaign will continue. The initiative is being conducted by CKO in cooperation with the Association of the Serbian Academic Diaspora and the Faculty of Philosophy Employees' Union.
