Facundo Moyano denies legal allegations in television interview

Former Peronist deputy Facundo Moyano appeared on the television program ‘La Mañana con Moria’ to address legal allegations involving his girlfriend, model Candela Arizaga. Moyano, who faces charges of aggravated minor injuries in a context of gender violence and unlawful deprivation of liberty, denied the accusations.

Moyano claimed that during an incident on August 4, Arizaga suffered a medical emergency, stating, “I saw her lifeless and I performed CPR.” He maintained his innocence, arguing that if he were guilty, he would already be in prison. He also criticized a police officer involved in the case, alleging abuse of authority.

Host Moria Casán later commented on the interview, noting that Moyano arrived late and appeared to be seeking a space for catharsis. She revealed that he brought religious images of the Virgin of Luján and the Virgin of San Nicolás as gifts during the encounter.
