Facundo Moyano restraining order maintained by Buenos Aires judiciary

The Buenos Aires prosecutor's office has rejected a request by Facundo Moyano to lift restrictive measures imposed following an incident involving his partner, influencer Candela Arizaga. Moyano remains under investigation for alleged light injuries and unlawful deprivation of liberty within a context of gender violence.

The judicial decision maintains a 300-meter restraining order and a total ban on all forms of contact between Moyano and Arizaga. This ruling follows Arizaga's testimony before the specialized Gender Violence Prosecutor's Office, where she denied experiencing physical or verbal violence. Arizaga attributed her recent erratic behavior, which included being seen running through the Belgrano neighborhood, to a "psychotic break" resulting from cocaine consumption.

Despite Arizaga's stated desire to resume her relationship with Moyano, the prosecution determined that the behavior observed during the incident is "typical of a case of gender violence" and ruled that the preventive measures must remain in place while the investigation proceeds.
