FAI Autumn Days attracts 400,000 visitors across Italy

The 2026 FAI Autumn Days event saw approximately 400,000 participants across Italy, visiting over 700 sites in 350 cities. Despite unstable weather conditions in central and southern regions, the initiative successfully opened many historical, artistic, and natural locations that are typically inaccessible to the public.

Palazzo Saladini Pilastri in Ascoli Piceno emerged as the most visited site in the country, recording over 12,000 visits. Other highly frequented locations included Palazzo Dugnani and CityWave in Milan, Villa Giorgina in Rome, and Villa La Tesoriera in Turin. Regionally, Lombardy, Emilia-Romagna, and Piedmont recorded the highest attendance.

The event was supported by approximately 9,000 Apprendisti Ciceroni (apprentice guides), primarily students, who assisted in navigating visitors through the various sites. The program also featured a focus on Italian craftsmanship and Made in Italy, with more than 75 openings dedicated to these themes.
