FAI Autumn Days 2026: Over 700 sites to open across Italy
The 15th edition of the FAI Autumn Days is scheduled for Saturday, October 10, and Sunday, October 11, 2026. Organized by the Fondo per l’Ambiente Italiano (FAI), the event will feature more than 700 extraordinary locations across 350 Italian cities, many of which are typically inaccessible to the general public.
The program includes a wide variety of sites, such as monumental buildings, theaters, churches, castles, natural areas, and contemporary architecture. This year, the initiative places a special emphasis on Italian craftsmanship and 'Made in Italy' to highlight the traditional skills and manufacturing excellence that define the country's regional identities.
Visits are conducted on a free-contribution basis, allowing the public to support the FAI mission through donations. The event relies heavily on the involvement of regional delegations and young volunteers, including students serving as guides. Specific regional highlights include openings in Liguria, Puglia, Campania, Calabria, and Veneto, among others.
