Falcón police suppress protests on Morón-Coro highway

Anti-riot units of the Falcón State Police suppressed protests on the Morón-Coro national highway for the third consecutive day. The demonstrations, occurring in the El Yabo sector of the Colina municipality, were organized by residents protesting a severe crisis in public services.

Protesters cited ongoing electricity rationing and a prolonged shortage of potable water as the primary drivers for the road blockades. During the confrontation, security forces used shields to attempt to forcibly disperse the crowds after demonstrators refused to vacate the highway.
