The Futako‑Tamagawa Rise complex in Tokyo will host a nine‑day family summer festival from 8 to 16 August 2026. Branded “Sun and Star Circus – Play Summer Festival & Play Classroom”, the event offers outdoor carnival games, live music stages, and a range of hands‑on workshops such as craft making, fishing‑game stalls, and a monster‑catcher arcade. Admission to the venue is free, with individual activity fees ranging from ¥900 to ¥4,800.

In Tokorozawa, Saitama, the 17th “Waku Waku Toko Summer Land” is set for 23 August 2026 at the Motomachi Community Plaza. Organized by the Tokorozawa Ginza Cooperative, the festival features traditional summer‑fair stalls, workshops, stage performances, a mini‑train ride, and a fire‑brigade role‑play experience. A highlight is the collaboration with the Saitama Seibu Lions, where coach Tomoki Hoshino will run a baseball‑ball‑handling session and the Lions Dance Academy will perform.
