FamilyMart announces 45th anniversary promotion in Japan

FamilyMart is hosting a “45th Anniversary FamiPay Grand Thanksgiving” festival across approximately 16,500 stores in Japan from November 1 to November 11.

The campaign features a special event on November 11, where customers who present the FamiPay app and spend 111 yen or more can participate in an in-app game. Winning the game grants limited-time FamiPay points equivalent to the purchase amount, effectively making the transaction free. Additionally, 111 participants who attempt the game twice or more will be entered into a lottery to win 1,000 yen worth of points.

Other promotions include 100-yen discount coupons for specific tea, bakery, and daily necessity items, which can reduce prices significantly; for example, a melon pan could be purchased for 40 yen. From November 1 to 10, customers can also enter a lottery via the FamiPay app for chances to win product assortments valued at up to 1.11 million yen.
