Faridabad Student Commits Suicide Following NEET Answer Key Review

An 18‑year‑old NEET‑UG aspirant identified as Danvita died by suicide on July 16 in Faridabad, India. She jumped from the roof of Tower A2 at the SRS Royal Hills Society after checking the National Testing Agency’s answer key and finding her estimated score far below expectations. Police reported she placed her belongings on the wall before leaping from the 16th floor. Danvita’s family, originally from Vijayawada, lives in a rented house in Faridabad; her father holds a senior position in a private company. The NEET‑UG exam had been reconducted on June 21 after a paper‑leak controversy, and the NTA had released scanned answer sheets to allow candidates to challenge their results.
