Farnborough Airshow 2026 sees Italian AIAD and India's HAL showcase aerospace firms

The Farnborough International Airshow, running 20‑24 July 2026 at the Farnborough Airfield in Hampshire, United Kingdom, will host major delegations from Italy and India. Italy’s AIAD (Federazione Aziende Italiane per l’Aerospazio, la Difesa e la Sicurezza) will present a new “AIAD Live from Farnborough” Media Space to produce interviews, podcasts and video content highlighting Italian aerospace, defence and security companies such as Leonardo, Piaggio Aerospace and MBDA Italia.

India’s Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) will lead the India Pavilion, displaying indigenous platforms including the LCA‑Tejas fighter, Prachand and Rudra helicopters, Dhruv NG and the Light Utility Helicopter. HAL aims to deepen partnerships with global OEMs such as GE Aerospace, Honeywell and MBDA and to promote India’s defence export ambitions.

Both delegations intend to use the airshow to secure high‑level business meetings, strategic engagements and to reinforce their countries’ presence in the global aerospace and defence market.
