Farnborough Airshow 2026 draws record turnout, defence focus

Overview

A U.S. Senate delegation met aerospace leaders to reaffirm support for tariff‑free trade. Indian HAL promoted a global manufacturing hub, meeting firms such as GE Aerospace and MBDA. The Lazio regional government presented about 20 local aerospace and AI firms in a dedicated Italy pavilion.

Overall, the event involved roughly 65,000 man‑days, underscoring the UK’s role as a global aerospace and defence hub.
