Governor Carlos Sadir launches multiple infrastructure projects in Perico, Jujuy
Governor Carlos Sadir inaugurated a new two‑lane bridge on Avenida Urquiza that links the neighborhoods of 2 de Abril, La Chacra and Éxodo Jujeño, improving safety and reducing travel distances for residents. He also opened a sewer network covering 30 blocks in the Norte Argentino and Nuevo Perico districts, extending service to more than 300 families and enhancing public health. In addition, Sadir presided over the reopening of the "Faro del Saber" digital point in the Punta Diamante neighborhood, equipped with notebooks, televisions and consoles to support free digital training for children and youth. Finally, the governor announced the reactivation of construction to expand the Virgen del Carmen Day Center and Long‑Stay Residence for seniors, a project stalled for a decade that will increase capacity and improve care for the town’s elderly population.
