Carlos Sadir's Jujuy development projects

Overview

In early July, Governor Carlos Sadir met with officials from the Puna region to coordinate priority projects. Following this, in early August, he inaugurated several infrastructure initiatives in Perico, Jujuy. These included a new two-lane bridge on Avenida Urquiza linking the neighborhoods of 2 de Abril, La Chacra, and Éxodo Jujeño, a sewer network serving over 300 families across 30 blocks, and the reopening of the ‘Faro del Saber’ digital learning point. He also announced the reactivation of construction for the Virgen del Carmen Day Center and Long-Stay Residence for seniors, a project that had been stalled for a decade.

By mid-August, the provincial administration expanded its focus to Pampa Blanca and Casabindo. In Pampa Blanca, authorities inaugurated a new potable water connection system for the 1 de Agosto and La Esperanza neighborhoods, replacing a system that relied on hoses. Additionally, a new space for local entrepreneurs was opened, and a multi-use sports and cultural facility was announced. In Casabindo, Governor Sadir attended religious and cultural celebrations, noting regional improvements such as the expansion of a multi-use hall and enhancements to the Toreo de la Vincha site.

On August 24, the Governor launched a strategic sanitation project in Alto Comedero. Managed by Agua Potable de Jujuy, the initiative involves an investment exceeding 700 million pesos to install a 3,700-meter sewage collector extending from the 10 Hectáreas neighborhood to Las Tipas in Palpalá. On August 26, Governor Sadir inaugurated the paving of Gorriti Street in the San Carlos neighborhood of El Carmen, marking the completion of over 50 blocks of pavement alongside water and sewage projects.
