FASTag Annual Pass reaches 1-crore milestone in India
The Indian government has announced that the FASTag Annual Pass has surpassed one crore issuances since its launch on August 15. The pass is applicable to non-commercial vehicles at approximately 1,150 fee plazas across national highways and expressways.
For a one-time fee of ₹3,075, the pass provides one year of validity or up to 200 toll plaza crossings, eliminating the need for frequent recharges. Users can activate the pass on their existing FASTag via the Rajmargyatra app or the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) website.
Additionally, the NHAI has introduced ‘OneTag’, a portability service available on the Rajmargyatra app. This feature allows users to switch their issuing bank while retaining the same physical FASTag affixed to their vehicle, enhancing flexibility and convenience for the country's estimated 13 crore FASTag users.
