Fat Dog releases second album Cancel Me (I'm Tired)
London-based septet Fat Dog has released their second studio album, ‘Cancel Me (I’m Tired)’, via Domino Records. Following the success of their 2024 release ‘Woof’, this new project marks a stylistic evolution for the group.
Produced by Oli Bayston, the album shifts the band’s sound from dance-punk toward a more structured electronic and rave-influenced direction. The music utilizes repetitive motifs, synth textures, and driving basslines to create a high-energy, club-oriented atmosphere. The album’s themes and production were shaped by the band's recent experiences, including extensive touring, personal relationships, and a transition toward machine-driven rhythms.
Key tracks include the title track, which draws inspiration from Anatolian psychedelia, and ‘Go Fuck Urself’, described as a high-energy pop anthem. The collection incorporates various influences, including art-pop, psychedelia, and electronic music.
