Fatal agricultural accidents reported in Albanella and Partinico

Two separate fatal workplace accidents have been reported in Italy involving agricultural workers.

In Albanella, a 40-year-old worker of Indian origin died after falling from the roof of a warehouse at an agricultural company in Matinella. Authorities are investigating whether the death was a workplace accident or the result of a sudden medical emergency. The site has been seized, and the prevention and hygiene service for work is conducting inspections.

In Partinico, 74-year-old farmer Matteo Randazzo died after being crushed by his own vehicle. Preliminary reports suggest the tractor overturned while he was maneuvering, possibly due to a slope or a large hole in the ground. Firefighters were called to the scene in Contrada Margi Soprana to extract the victim, who was pronounced dead by medical personnel.
