Fatal fall on Rysy mountain injures tourist, one dead

A mountain accident occurred on Sunday on Rysy in the Tatra range. A female tourist fell from a height and was found dead at the site. A second tourist was seriously injured and was air‑lifted by helicopter to a hospital. The rescue operation involved 30 members of the Polish mountain rescue service (TOPR).
