Fatal incidents reported in Naples province involving fire and workplace accident

Two separate fatal incidents have been reported in the Naples province of Italy.

In Capaccio Paestum, a 44-year-old Romanian national residing in Eboli died at the Cardarelli Hospital in Naples after sustaining severe burns in a house fire on via Chiorbo. A second person was also injured in the blaze. Carabinieri from the Agropoli Company are investigating the cause, with early hypotheses suggesting a domestic accident or equipment malfunction.

In San Gennaro Vesuviano, a 30-year-old man from Bangladesh died at the Ospedale del Mare following a workplace accident that occurred on October 12. The victim, who resided in a local reception center, was reportedly struck by a forklift while working for an agricultural consortium, causing him to fall from a significant height. Authorities noted that police were not notified at the time of the initial accident. The Prosecutor's Office has ordered an autopsy and the seizure of the forklift as the Labor Inspectorate and Carabinieri continue their investigation.
