Fatal road accidents reported in Satkania and Jashore

Two separate road accidents in Bangladesh have resulted in multiple fatalities. In Satkania, Chittagong, a head-on collision between a passenger bus and an auto-rickshaw on the Chittagong-Cox's Bazar highway led to a fire on the bus. The collision killed two passengers from the auto-rickshaw, including a 27-year-old man and a two-year-old child. Five others were injured.

Following the accident, local residents blocked the highway, causing a temporary halt in traffic. During the protest, an agitated crowd damaged a police patrol vehicle, resulting in an injury to a police officer. Authorities eventually cleared the blockade and restored traffic flow.

In Jashore, a collision between two motorcycles on the Jashore-Benapole highway in the Nutonhat area left three people dead and two others seriously injured. The victims were identified as Siam Hossain, Ariful Islam Joy, and one individual whose identity is yet to be determined. The injured have been admitted to Jashore General Hospital.
