Fatal shootings reported in Belize and Jamaica

Two separate fatal shooting incidents have occurred in Belize and Jamaica.

In Belize City’s Kings Park area, 33-year-old Barry Johnson was killed when a vehicle approached and opened fire near an apartment complex. Another man, Jahsun Tillett, was injured in the attack and is currently in stable condition at Carl Houston Memorial Hospital. Police are investigating whether Johnson was followed to the location and are reviewing surveillance footage from the neighborhood watch community.

In Robin’s Bay, St Mary, Jamaica, a gunman entered a bar on Wednesday afternoon and shot three men dead before fleeing the scene. The Jamaica Constabulary Force is investigating the triple murder and working to establish a motive for the attack. The identities of the victims have not yet been released.
