Fatal shootings reported in Honduras and Ecuador

Two separate fatal shootings were reported in Honduras and Ecuador.

In Tegucigalpa, Honduras, two young men were killed by gunmen in the Villanueva neighborhood of the Central District. The victims were performing construction-related work in roadside ditches near the Santidad A Jehová Church when they were targeted. National Police officers cordoned off the scene to begin investigations into the motive and the identities of the attackers.

In Ecuador, a 33-year-old man was shot and killed by two individuals on a motorcycle in the Chongón tourist area near Guayaquil. The attack occurred near a restroom facility during the afternoon. Police recovered eight ballistic indicators and narcotics at the scene, leading investigators to look into potential links to local drug trafficking.
