Fatal traffic accidents reported in Kosovo and Albania

Two separate fatal traffic accidents have been reported in the region. In Kosovo, brothers Bujar and Hajdar Matarova died following a severe crash in the village of Surkish. Police reports suggest a vehicle with foreign license plates may have struck the Kosovar citizens' vehicle due to negligence.

In Albania, two sisters, 53-year-old Florie Xhepa and 50-year-old Mirela Hasko, lost their lives in a tragic accident near the village of Delisufaj in Lushnjë. The vehicle they were traveling in left a bridge and plunged into an irrigation canal. Reports indicate the bridge lacked protective barriers, contributing to the danger. The victims were unable to escape the vehicle and died due to drowning.
