FatHopes Energy and PVOIL partner to build Vietnam UCO network

FatHopes Energy and PetroVietnam Oil Corporation (PVOIL) have entered a strategic partnership to establish Vietnam’s first nationwide used cooking oil (UCO) collection ecosystem. The initiative aims to transform UCO from households, restaurants, industrial kitchens, and seafood processing plants into certified renewable feedstock for sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) and other advanced biofuels.

The collaboration leverages FatHopes Energy’s digital traceability technologies and global supply chain expertise alongside PVOIL’s infrastructure, which includes approximately 1,000 petrol stations and extensive logistics and warehousing capabilities. The project will utilize FatHopes Energy’s proprietary Waste Recycling Management System (WRMS), a digital platform designed to provide end-to-end traceability and digital verification from the point of origin to ensure compliance with international sustainability and ESG reporting standards.

Implementation will begin in Ho Chi Minh City before expanding progressively across Vietnam. PVOIL and its subsidiary, PVOIL Trans, will lead the expansion of the initiative to create a scalable national model for the circular economy.
